Youth Science and Technology Conference at Le Huu Trac National Burn Hospital in 2021

Attending and directing the Conference were Major General, Assoc. Nguyen Gia Tien, Director of the Hospital, together with the leaders and commanders of the Faculty, Departments, Boards, members of the Jury, authors, topic authors and all staff in the hospital.

Youth Science and Technology Conference is a playground where young doctors, nurses and technicians enthusiastically participate in order to promote the science, creativity, novelty of youth and find valuable topics. highly practical application of treatment to better serve the medical examination and treatment; at the same time, it is also a place for young people to exchange, exchange experiences, discuss and contribute ideas from colleagues and the Jury in order to improve research topics more and more.

Attending this Scientific Conference, the Organizing Committee received 5 reports from the following authors & groups of authors:

1. Research on some characteristics of ventilator-associated pneumonia in burn patients at the National Burn Hospital - Authors Department of Emergency Resuscitation

2. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the application of the two-stem skin flap that penetrates freely in the back in the treatment of scar sequelae of burns in the face and neck - Authors Center for Surgery and Surgery.

3. Research on morphological characteristics and immunohistochemistry at the site of chronic wounds treated with platelet-rich plasma - Authors' team, Center for Wound Healing.

4. Research on clinical characteristics and treatment of electrical burns in children - Authors group Department of Pediatric Burn Treatment.

5. Evaluation of pain relief after burn necrosis surgery and skin grafting with a mixture of Neopam - Fentanyl in patients with intravenous control - Authors Department of Anesthesiology.

According to the regulations of the Organizing Committee, the author & group of authors participating in the project report have 2 forms:

+ Report the topic through a presentation by slide with a maximum time of 10 minutes.

+ Technical newspaper: Report in the form of video made by the group registered for the contest. Technical video reporting time is 30 minutes (of which video length should not exceed 25 minutes).

Based on the standards and regulations from the Organizing Committee, the Jury has selected 3 winning reports with the most scientific, creative, novel and practical value application to award: 01 prize: 01 prize. Best; 01 Second prize, 01 third prize sent to participate in the Youth Science and Technology Fair of Military Medical Academy and the Medical Science and Technology Conference in 2021.
