On October 14, 1995, Associate Professor Nguyen Van Hue, Inter-Dean of Emergency Resuscitation and Adult Burn Treatment Department 9 (from 1995-1998: Organized joint staffing of Emergency Resuscitation Department and Burn Treatment Department) The department was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Van Hue. In November 1998, it was split into two departments of Emergency Resuscitation and the Department of Adult Burn Treatment).
On November 16, 1998, Master Do Luong Tuan became the Vice Dean of the Faculty, in charge of the Department, in charge of the Adult Burns Department (according to the Decision of the Military Medical Academy No. 24/CCD).

DUTIES OF THE Faculty
Collecting treatment for adult burn patients
Participate in teaching and training with the Department of Burns.
Participate in grassroots work on burns.
TREATMENT WORK
The adult department regularly treats adult burn patients with agents at 50 beds, with annual capacity from 1,300 to 1,500 patients. Successfully treated many severe burns, especially high-voltage electrical burns, acid burns, etc., implemented many supportive treatment measures: therapeutic baths, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, occupational therapy...
TEACHING WORK
02 teachers participated in teaching together with the Burns Department.
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH WORKS
Evaluation of the effect of the drug Maduxin (completed July 1999).
Application of innovative Dampomade in the treatment of burns.
Research on the topic of carbon cloth film in the treatment of burns (Ministry-level project).
Participated in the youth innovation sports festival at the hospital, academy and associate level at Saint Paul Hospital in March 1999.
