November 16, 1998: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan is the Dean of the Faculty (according to the Decision of the Military Medical Academy No. 24/CCD).

October 25, 2002: Master Dinh Van Han became the Vice Dean of the Faculty.

DUTIES OF THE Faculty

Collecting treatment for pediatric burn patients

Participate in teaching and training with the Department of Burns.

Scientific research and international cooperation.

Participate in on-line work as assigned.

TREATMENT WORK

The department is regularly in charge of treating children's burns with 80 beds. Every year, the department collects and treats from 1,300 to 1,500 patients, especially the department has successfully treated many severe burns: deep electric burns to the meninges, to the spine; electric burns of fingers IV, V; burns 30% of the body surface area. The department has also implemented bath therapy to treat burns and insensitivity in dressing changes.

BUILDING AND TRAINING WOMAN PROFESSIONAL TEAM

The Faculty has 03 teachers, 02 teaching assistants, 01 associate professor, 02 doctorates, 01 master. Teaching subjects: undergraduate, graduate, bachelor, nursing.

The Faculty always focuses on training and self-training for doctors and staff to improve their professional qualifications in all aspects.

SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Research drug VM1 + carpema carbon cloth in the treatment of burns.

Study on histological and bacteriological developments in burns caused by hot slaked lime

Research on the drug BT91 for local treatment of burn wounds.

Children's burns and methods of prevention and treatment.

Participating in research in the Vietnam - Russia scientific cooperation program on the topic: "Cultivating fibroblasts".

Participating in 5 national defense projects:

Research on using allogeneic skin grafts taken from relatives to treat deep and large burns.

Study on the effect of topical treatment of burns of VM1 cream in combination with carbon carpema cloth.

Completing the VM1 cream production process.

Study on Italian skin flap treatment for deep burns.

Completing the process of using allogeneic skin grafts taken from relatives to treat deep and large burns.

Participating in a research project at the Ministry of Health on early necrosis removal and immediate skin grafting.

Technical innovation initiatives

Cut necrosis early skin graft within 72 hours after burn (Institute level science and technology conference won third prize)

Using homemade elastic pants to treat burns on the buttocks, genitals and thighs (First prize in the 20th Hanoi Youth Creative Sports Festival 2003).

Early necrosis removal, sub-garbage skin grafts to treat deep burns (winning the second prize of the 19th medical technical innovation festival in 2001).

Propaganda on burn prevention

On television, radio, newspapers. Actively doing information work to support poor patients.
