DUTIES OF THE Faculty
Ensure biochemical, hematological and microbiological tests for burn treatment.
Ensure the safety of blood transfusion and blood products in the treatment of burns.
Serving training and scientific research.
Scientific research work:
Improved application of fibrinogen quantification on autolav (1996-1997).
Monitoring of coagulation parameters in the early stages of burns (1997-1998).
Monitor HBsAg and HIV infection in blood donors' family members (1997-1998).
Application of leukocyte infusion in the treatment of infections and severe burns (2000-2004).
Blood culture to identify bacteria and make antibiogram on Bact-Alert system, Vitek-32 (2002-2004).
Evaluation of the therapeutic efficacy of frozen plasma in the treatment of burn shock.
